About Joshua

Joshua is a multi-instrumentalist, producer, and aspiring composer/sound designer based out of New Jersey. His experience with music has spanned nearly two decades, from his time playing the drums at the age of three, to his first solo album at the age of 19. 

Though Joshua is proficient in drums, piano/synthesizers, and bass, his primary instrument is the guitar. Joshua began his studies at the age of 15 under accomplished musician Andrew Pevny, and together they studied complex music theory, guitar techniques, music production, and various genres not limited to metal, fusion, jazz, rock, and funk. At 18, he was even accepted into the prestigious Berklee College of Music. Though he chose not to attend, he went on to release "wEast" under the project of the same name and "Depths" under his main project Doss.

Joshua has since branched out into newer territory; After discovering a newfound interest in sound design and electronic music, he has explored opportunities to compose music for others, as well as incorporate this knowledge into his own music.
